Preschoolers are little artists. They experience so much joy when they create something and say, “Look at what I made!ˮ But we want preschoolers to know that THEY are made by God and that they are important to God. So this month, our bottom line for preschoolers is God made me wonderful. Letʼs help them experience awe and wonder as they see themselves as a part of Godʼs creation.
Weʼre taking August to dive in and explore the incredible truth that each one of us is a Masterpiece: Made by God–in Godʼs very own image! Throughout the month, kids will discover that they are created for a purpose, that God can use everything in our lives, that every single person is of value because they are made in Godʼs image, and that God has gifted us to work together to grow His kingdom.

Preschoolers cannot see God, but they need to know that He is always with them. God is close enough to hear their giggles and tears, and He hears them when they pray to Him. So, we have four Bible stories to share this month that will help preschoolers learn that God is always with them.
Life is busy for everyone. Thatʼs why itʼs so vital for all of us to learn how to pause, take a deep breath, and tune our hearts to hear from God. We serve a God who wants to speak to us and who designed us to hear from Him every day! For many of us, though, hearing from God feels complicated. Where do I start? How do I know if itʼs God or my own thoughts? God loves when we ask those questions—and weʼre excited to help kids ask those questions, too, as we explore FREQUENCY - Learning to hear from God.
